Review: The Power of Htc X7500

Author: Darlene Kaitlene

The HTC X7500 is a lot of things packed into one small hand held device – it has the functionalities of a UMPC, the features of a laptop, Smartphone or PDA phones. It has been conveniently designed keeping in mind the comfort as well as requirements of the end users.

Unlike many UMPC, this device comes with an attractive QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard is designed keeping the ergonomics of utility. It has big keys which are also conveniently spaced for the pleasure of typing.  You can go for either one handed typing or simply thumb typing. What's even more interesting is that the keyboard is attached to the display unit magnetically and you can detach it any time. You can fold the keyboard against the display like a book with paper back.

Besides the keyboard, there are many other ways of navigation around the interface. You can use the stylus or the little nipple ball for navigation by tapping the 5-inch VGA display. The display unit is big enough to surf the web as well as view documents. Both are designed in a way that is easy to use and natural to hold. The X7500 is bigger than the usual PDA phones, yet smaller than the laptop. It is very much portable and can be carried in steel strap hanger rings which would look like a messenger bag that you can strap over your shoulder.

The HTC X7500 can prove to be quite an effective device for all your office as well as personal requirements. You can choose to work from wherever you want to and whenever you choose. It runs  Microsoft Windows Mobile 5 that enables you to successfully manage all your documents, send and receive emails, open Microsoft documents and PDFs.

All these and more features make the HTC X7500 a very attractive and convenient device to use and carry.
